Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive exceptional care and support throughout their visit. The ideal candidate will possess strong dental administrative support skills, familiarity with dental terminology, and experience in a dental office environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage patient interactions will be crucial in enhancing the overall patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Oversee the email inbox, properly handle all messages, and promptly attach corresponding patient records.
Verify dental insurance benefits and provide patients with treatment plan estimates.
Schedule appointments and manage the patient calendar efficiently.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
Provide information about services offered and answer any patient inquiries.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.
Support the office team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Proven experience in dental administrative support or a similar role within a dental or medical office.
Strong understanding of dental terminology to facilitate effective communication.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
Proficiency in office software applications for scheduling and record management.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient documentation and appointment scheduling.
Bilingual/Spanish

Part Time Oral Surgery Administrative Position Available (Brookfield, IL)

Brand new state of the art oral surgery practice in Brookfield is looking for an experienced oral surgery administrative team member. Our practice is primarily office based with concentration on dentoalveolar and implant surgery using IV sedation. Prior experience with dental or medical practice management software and advanced computer skills are preferred. However, we are willing to train the right person. Must be energetic, willing to learn, and passionate about an excellent patient care experience. We have a very team friendly environment with competitive compensation and some part time benefits.
