Job Title: Operations Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The role of an operations supervisor is one that requires a great deal of leadership skills and management ability. Operations supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their team, which includes managing individual employees as well as planning and organizing workflows and processes. The operations supervisor must be able to effectively manage people while also maintaining a clear understanding of how each person on their team contributes to overall business goals. This means they need to be a strong leader who can inspire confidence in their employees while also being flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances. The operations supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that our operations department runs smoothly and efficiently, to meet our high standards of quality and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to the following):

Maintain clear and consistent communication with operations leadership, field staff, and key stakeholders to ensure effective daily operations across assigned sites.
Support and execute operational objectives as directed by the Operations Manager.
Travel to assigned BIOKINETIX client sites as needed, with travel ranging from daily to monthly based on operational requirements and serve as an on-site leadership presence for new program launches, performance concerns, staffing gaps, or client issues requiring in-person support.
Travel to meetings outside of BIOKINETIX facilities, including client sites, to provide onsite coverage in support of Program Managers during absences and to ensure contractual client requirements are met.
Lead and facilitate onsite onboarding, hands-on training, and mentoring of new hires at client sites to ensure consistent adherence to BIOKINETIX standards and client expectations.
Monitor operational workflows and site-level data collection to support productivity targets and service quality.
Oversee equipment, materials, and supply levels at client sites to ensure availability while minimizing waste or excess inventory.
Communicate proactively with field staff regarding upcoming assignments, schedule changes, and operational expectations.
Coordinate site-level projects and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and alignment with relevant departments.
Supervise and evaluate direct reports to ensure work meets quality standards and is completed in a timely manner.
Identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement and escalate recommendations to the Operations Manager as appropriate.
Ensure staff adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards at all client sites.
Ensure compliance with all company safety, security, and environmental protocols across locations.
Lead, coach, and develop field staff through regular feedback, performance discussions, and site visits.
Direct day-to-day operational activities at assigned sites to meet established timelines and service expectations.
Monitor team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions at the site level when necessary.
Partner with internal departments (HR, Account Management, Operations) to resolve site-level issues efficiently.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives as directed by the Operations Manager.
Manage staffing coverage and schedules at the site level to meet client and operational needs.
Investigate and resolve service or client concerns in a timely and professional manner, including on-site intervention when appropriate.
Manage disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy and report appropriately to HR.
Maintain accurate records of team activities, performance, and site operations.
Prepare site-level updates and reports for review by the Operations Manager.
Facilitate team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and reinforce expectations.
Review employee timesheets for accuracy and approve them in accordance with required payroll deadlines prior to HR processing.
Review and approve monthly mileage and employee reimbursement submissions, ensuring completeness and accuracy before forwarding to HR in a timely manner.
Support new program launches through on-site service, training of new staff, and direct client communication during start-up phases.
Ensure daily service schedules are followed across sites and promptly communicate any deviations to the Operations and Account Managers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training
3-5 years of supervisory experience or similar role
Direct experience implementing operational processes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The ability to communicate, lead a team and problem solve.
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required to be able to travel to meetings outside the organization’s facility.
