ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2003 after spending 12 years with State Farm corporate and moving back to my hometown to serve the community I care deeply about. Our office has grown to a team of nine, and we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, customer-focused environment where team members are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally.

I’m a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, have been married for over 30 years, and enjoy spending time outdoors, summers at the lake, and winter snow activities with my family. Our office offers a Monday–Friday schedule, PTO, continuing education opportunities, an Aspirant program, team celebrations, snacks and coffee, and flexibility to support outside passions and activities. Tim Reed - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
