Full Job Description

Lead Imaging Clerk Position

Summary

The Lead Imaging Clerk is a working lead responsible for coordinating the daily activities of a team of Imaging Clerks while performing document imaging, indexing, scanning, and quality review. This role provides day-to-day direction, monitors workflow, assigns work, and serves as the primary resource for team questions to ensure documents are processed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prioritize the daily workflow of a team of Imaging Clerks.
Assign work, monitor productivity, and help balance team workloads.
Train and provide day-to-day guidance to team members; escalate issues to management as needed.
Scan, index, and quality review documents for placement into the electronic document management system.
Ensure documents are accurately classified and maintained in both electronic and paper filing systems.
Maintain document accuracy while meeting productivity and service expectations.
Identify opportunities to improve workflow and document processing efficiency.

QualificationsRequired

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience leading or coordinating the daily work of a small team.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred

Knowledge of records retention practices and document control procedures.
Experience in document imaging, records management, or administrative support.
Experience with document scanning, indexing, and electronic document management systems (EDMS).

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
