Seeking Full-Time Audit Senior for Opportunity with Family-Friendly Firm!
(Hybrid position - On location in Independence, OH and local client sites with flexibility provided for remote working)

Our employees have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule - a combination of remote access availability from home, local travel to our client sites, and on-site training, collaboration, and teamwork performed within a professional office setting located in Independence, OH. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for planning, performing, and supervising audits for a variety of clients.

About Your Role

As an Audit Senior, with a strong knowledge of accounting and auditing practices, you will be responsible for completing assigned attest engagements for clients in various industries. As a Senior, you will take the lead on conducting engagements while also assigning tasks to the rest of the team. It will be crucial to support junior staff through adequate training and supportive supervision. In the end, your goal is to ensure timely completion of attest engagements and submission of clear and concise workpapers and financial statements to the Audit Director/Manager.

Job Responsibilities

· Plan, perform, and supervise audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with accounting standards

· Plan, perform, and supervise other accounting and attest engagements as necessary

· Identify, research, and communicate audit and accounting issues for clients, offering recommended solutions that address risk

· Train, coach, and supervise junior staff members

· Develop and effectively manage client relationships

· Keep up-to-date on new and changing accounting standards

· Assist with cultivating a culture of continuous learning, always encouraging professional development

Your Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field

· Hold active CPA certification (preferred) or working towards certification

· 3 to 6+ years/busy seasons in public accounting

· Genuine passion for audit and public accounting with a love of learning

· Ability to build effective business relationships with clients

· Possess sound judgement and integrity

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time; up to 60 hours per week during busy season (January-April)
