Full Job Description

Multi-rooftop local car dealership looking for an experienced automotive office manager. This is a hands-on accounting position where you will be posting day-to-day transactions and managing a small staff.

As an office manager, you are the heart of the organization, helping keep everyone on track and organized while ensuring the accounting work is completed accurately and timely.

You MUST have experience in a similar role or transferable accounting skills!

Job Responsibilities to Include:

Oversee the accounting department for the dealership.
Ensure a smooth accounts payable process and timely vendor payments
Ensure timely and accurate processing all sales transactions
Reconciling all general ledger accounts monthly.
Production of an accurate and timely financial statement
Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for owners.
File all government-required forms in a timely manner (not corporate taxes)
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
Oversee HR compliance

Job Requirements:

Prior Automotive Experience is a priority consideration
Degree - Accounting Major or extensive prior experience in a similar role
Must have a strong grasp of information technology.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must have demonstrated leadership ability and team management in prior roles
Must have interpersonal skills and the ability to train team members.

Compensation is based on skills and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
