Full Job Description

The Kiski School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Saltsburg, PA, is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator to support the Office of College Counseling (CCO).

The CCO Coordinator is the first point of contact with students, families, and admission representatives, and plays a critical role in supporting the work of the two full-time college counselors.

The ideal candidate will bring a sense of humor, warmth, and enthusiasm for working with students as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include:

Assist the Counselors in managing the college application process for Kiski students

Schedule/manage college rep visits and manage office calendars and CCO bulletin boards

Manage correspondence and communications for the College Counseling office

Maintain student records and data in the college application process, including transcripts, test scores, and application materials

Organize and send bi-weekly parent electronic newsletters

Assist with aspects of on-campus testing, including proctoring SAT tests throughout the year

Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Counselors

Collaborate with other school departments as needed

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director

This is an in-person position that will require occasional weekend/evening work

The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following qualities and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Previous experience in an administrative or executive assistant role preferred

Strong organizational abilities: time-management, planning, and prioritization skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Google Forms, Social Media platforms. Familiarity with Scoir and Blackbaud is a plus.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
