IT Channel Sales Executive

Indianapolis, IN | Full-Time | Technology Solutions

This is an outside sales position with a technology solutions firm that serves mid-market and enterprise clients across the United States. The role focuses on generating new monthly recurring revenue by selling and advising on a portfolio of cloud and managed technology solutions including UCaaS, CCaaS, IaaS, SD-WAN, BRaaS, DRaaS, and cybersecurity. The position is remote-eligible but requires proximity to Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI for regional client and event coverage.

Schedule Full-time. The position operates on a standard Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility based on client and pipeline activity. Quarterly and annual in-person company events require travel. Candidates must reside within commutable distance to Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI.

Compensation Base salary plus commission. Specific compensation details will be provided during the interview process.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new monthly recurring revenue (MRC) by identifying, developing, and closing new client opportunities across mid-market and enterprise organizations. Your prospecting activity will span outbound phone, email, LinkedIn, video outreach, and event-based marketing. You will be expected to close a minimum of $115,000 in new MRC annually and will be measured against that target on an ongoing basis.

You will work closely with internal support teams including Marketing, Operations, Sales Management, Solutions Engineers, and Account Managers to develop tailored technology strategies for prospective and existing clients. This includes understanding each client's business requirements and working with engineers to architect appropriate solutions across the firm's solution portfolio.

Relationship management is a central part of this role. You will build and maintain relationships with new prospects, existing customers, technology partners, and vendors, with an ongoing focus on client retention and account growth. You will also represent the company at sponsored events and assist in recruiting and engaging attendees for those programs. Ongoing training in sales methodology and product knowledge is expected and supported.

Required Qualifications

5 or more years of experience in IT sales or a directly equivalent role
Demonstrated working knowledge of technology solutions including UCaaS, CCaaS, IaaS, SD-WAN, BRaaS, DRaaS, and cybersecurity
Proven track record of consistent lead generation and opportunity development
Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
Ability to travel to quarterly and annual company events
Must reside within commutable distance to Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI

Preferred Qualifications

Experience specifically in CCaaS or telecom sales
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Communications, or a related field
Familiarity with channel sales models and technology partner ecosystems
Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients with complex, multi-vendor environments
Established relationships with technology vendors or master agents in the UCaaS or managed services space
