Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team! This vital role combines the responsibilities of managing daily office operations with accurate financial record-keeping. This salaried, full-time, position involves having strong communication skills, accounting experience, key-record keeping, and coordination among departments. The office manager is a full charge bookkeeper that ensures efficient and smooth daily operations and administrative assistance.

Duties

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them and/or information to relevant departments
Quickbooks Accounting Software
Recording and paying accounts payable
Issuing invoices to and collecting from customers
Calculating pay and issuing payments to employees
Calculating job costing and creating financial statements and related financial reports
Preparing work orders from service calls, and creating contracts
Performing paperwork, data entry, and filing duties
Applying for permits
Remitting payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes
Working with accountant to pay/prepare weekly, quarterly, and year end taxes
Reconciling bank accounts
Buying office supplies

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience is required
Administrative experience is preferred
Candidates must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references
Experience with Quickbooks Accounting Software
Good communication skills, in person and on the phone
Knowledge of software programs Quickbooks, Excel, Word, etc.
Ability to organize and plan duties appropriately
