Advertising, Employer Partnerships & Sponsorship Sales

Independent Contractor | Flexible/Remote within Central Indiana

Position Overview

LatinosIndy.com is seeking an independent, commission-based Business Partnerships Representative to develop relationships with businesses, employers and organizations that want to connect with Central Indiana’s Latino community.

The representative will sell across LatinosIndy.com’s advertising, sponsored content, event promotion, employer branding, job-board and custom sponsorship opportunities.

This is a nonexclusive 1099 independent-contractor opportunity. The representative controls their own schedule and prospecting activity, builds most of their own pipeline and may maintain other nonconflicting clients or sources of income.

LatinosIndy.com provides product onboarding, CRM access, media kits, approved packages and pricing, proposal materials and sales support. Inbound and company-developed opportunities may be shared when available, but the representative should expect to build most of their pipeline independently.

Income is not guaranteed, but the role offers recurring commissions, larger custom partnership opportunities and uncapped earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, research and develop prospective clients throughout Central Indiana
Build relationships with businesses, employers, corporations, nonprofits, event organizers and community organizations
Generate new opportunities through outreach, referrals, networking and existing relationships
Conduct discovery conversations to understand each prospect’s goals, audience, hiring needs, timeline and budget
Recommend appropriate LatinosIndy.com advertising, promotional, employer or sponsorship solutions
Present approved packages, pricing and proposals
Close one-time campaigns, recurring partnerships and custom sponsorships
Support renewals, upgrades and account expansion
Maintain accurate prospect, proposal and sales information in the CRM
Coordinate completed sales with LatinosIndy.com for contracting, invoicing and campaign fulfillment
Provide periodic pipeline updates
Follow approved pricing, contracts, package terms and brand standards
Avoid making unapproved claims, guarantees or commitments on behalf of LatinosIndy.com
Represent LatinosIndy.com professionally and protect the trust we have built with our audience and partners

Occasional client meetings, networking events or community events may take place during evenings or weekends. The representative manages their own schedule and decides which prospecting and networking activities to pursue.

Products and Partnerships

The representative may sell:

Digital advertising and sponsored social media content
Sponsored Reels and multi-video campaigns
Event-promotion packages
Seasonal campaigns and content sponsorships
Individual job-board postings
Recurring job-board and employer-branding partnerships
Recruitment and hiring-event promotion
Multi-month advertising agreements
Customized corporate sponsorships

Compensation and Commission Structure

This is a 100% commission-based 1099 opportunity with no base salary or hourly wage. Income is not guaranteed and grows as the representative builds their book of business.

20% on self-sourced standard sales
10% on qualified standard leads provided by LatinosIndy.com
15% on self-sourced custom corporate partnerships
10% on company-provided custom corporate opportunities
10% on qualifying renewals

Commissions are uncapped and paid on collected revenue after the client pays. Renewing partnerships can provide recurring income over time.

A one-time $400 onboarding stipend is available after completing onboarding. The representative may also earn:

$250 after reaching $2,500 in collected self-sourced revenue
An additional $500 after reaching $7,500 in collected self-sourced revenue within the first 90 days

Following the introductory period, the initial sales benchmark is approximately $7,500 in new signed business per month. The opportunity is designed to grow through recurring partnerships, account expansion and larger custom sponsorships.

Independent-Contractor Structure

The representative controls their own schedule and prospecting process and may maintain other nonconflicting clients. They use their own computer, phone, internet and transportation and are responsible for personal taxes, insurance and ordinary business expenses.

LatinosIndy.com handles final contracts, invoicing, payment collection and campaign fulfillment.

Qualifications

Experience in B2B sales, advertising, media sales, sponsorships, recruitment, staffing, account development or a related field
Demonstrated ability to generate prospects, conduct sales conversations and close business
Comfortable working in a commission-only independent-contractor role
Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation and follow-up skills
Able to work independently and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
Able to recommend solutions based on client needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all pitch
Familiarity with Indianapolis and Central Indiana’s business community is a plus
Existing relationships with local businesses, employers, nonprofits or corporate decision-makers are a plus
Bilingual Spanish and English skills are strongly preferred
Experience working with or marketing to Latino communities is a strong plus
Reliable access to a computer, phone, internet and transportation for occasional local meetings and events
Commitment to representing LatinosIndy.com and the Latino community professionally and respectfully
