We’re seeking an agency-experienced Promotional & Campaign Writer to play a pivotal role in crafting breakthrough narratives that inspire and connect with audiences. In this role, you’ll shape high-impact digital-first integrated campaigns, mentor fellow writers, and ensure every piece of content reflects our commitment to quality, relevance, and brand integrity. Your bold work will resonate across channels to elevate our presence in the market, set a refined creative standard, bring ambitious ideas to life, and strengthen how audiences experience and connect with our brands.
What We Are Looking For
- Creative Storyteller & Content Expert — Innovative writer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concepting and executing high-impact, short-form theme-driven content across digital and print channels, with deep knowledge of narrative structure, messaging strategy, and brand voice across multiple brands.
- Collaborative Leader & Communicator — Cross-functional partner who unifies teams, works downward and across TC staff to ensure cohesive creative storytelling, and can clearly articulate creative concepts and incorporate collaborator feedback.
- Quality-Driven Brand Steward — Thorough professional who ensures consistency, quality, and brand alignment in every deliverable, with a commitment to inclusive and accessible practices across all formats.
- Hands-On Campaign Builder — Thrives on developing and executing theme-driven short-form content and messaging campaigns from concept through final delivery across multiple brands and channels.
What You’ll Do
- Campaign Concepting & Messaging Strategy — Develop concept-level campaign content that brings brand strategy to life while generating awareness, deepen affinity, and motivating audiences to engage.
- Execute Across Channels — Craft distinctive and attention grabbing short-form content across social, video, digital, print, CRM, and point-of-care tactics — built to flex across platforms while maintaining brand consistency and a clear creative point of view.
- Translate Science & Strategy into Compelling Content — Convert brand strategy, customer insights, and clinical data into clear, compliant, marketing-ready concepts-driven messaging while navigating MLR review and advocating for creative excellence through final delivery.
- Collaborate Across Functions — Partner with marketers, creative directors, art directors, agency partners, and channel specialists to deliver breakthrough concepts that strengthen brand relevance and audience connection.
- Optimize, Mentor & Elevate the Work — Apply performance data and audience insights to sharpen creative strategy, while mentoring others on copy development to raise craft, consistency, and storytelling across the team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience as a Lead Copy Writer role delivering campaigns for both digital and traditional channels.
- 4+ years in traditional fast-paced agency setting leading concepting, pitches, and creative content development from initial strategy through final execution.

Preferred Qualifications
- Robust portfolio supporting recognized global brands showing range and craft across digital and print channels, and campaign types that reflects both strong copywriting and critical thinking.
- Proficiency in translating brand strategy into integrated campaigns, with experience collaborating across creative, strategy, account, medical, and regulatory teams.
- Proven ability to lead high-volume content development across multiple channels and brands.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare marketing is a plus but not required.
- Agency experience supporting global brands across multi-channel campaigns, with understanding of healthcare audiences and compliance-driven review processes.
- Strong command of creative short-form content development, brand strategy, omnichannel strategy, PESO frameworks, digital marketing, analytics, SEO, personalization, and A/B testing.
- Ego-free leader with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, presentation, and deadline-management skills.
- Motivated to employ emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve conceptualization, writing efficiency, and creative quality while staying current on industry standard processes.

- Position is on-site in Indianapolis; local hybrid work options may be considered.
- Relocation package provided. Travel up to 15% expected.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,500 - $137,500
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
