Role Overview:
The Senior Program Manager, Workforce & Talent will work directly with the IEDC Workforce & Talent team to provide a vital link between businesses and talent resources, including universities, education institutes, government agencies and resources; as well as community and education stakeholders, to make it as easy as possible for employers to cultivate robust talent pipelines, meet hiring goals, and implement training and development programs. The incumbent will support all efforts to enable the IEDC to offer concierge talent services to business prospects considering locating or expanding in Indiana, adding another key selling point to the state’s incentive toolkit. The Sr. Program Manager will support the IEDC to ensure the State of Indiana is positioned to offer the business community ongoing, coordinated support in talent recruitment, attraction, and training. The team will prioritize support for new business prospects and for growing businesses with active incentive contracts with the State of Indiana.
Salary Statement:
The salary range for this position is $71,802 – $74,000, commensurate with education and work experience.
Liaise among stakeholders within State Government as well as field stakeholders including, but not limited to employers, educators, economic developers, local government and others.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action affecting Indiana’s ability to attract, develop, connect and retain talent.
