Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support our organization’s financial health, providing clarity through meticulous bookkeeping and financial reporting. We’re looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our mission of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, and other financial systems
Record and reconcile journal entries, bank statements, and general ledger transactions following GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial data
Process payroll and handle related payroll reporting tasks with precision
Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget analyses
Conduct regular account reconciliations including bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data integrity
Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting in financial planning efforts
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and ensure all transactions adhere to organizational policies

Skills

Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and accounting practices
Expertise in double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
Familiarity with financial concepts including account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet management
Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and financial report writing with accuracy
Experience in payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget tracking
Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of GAAP standards and accounting regulations applicable to various organizational types
Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
