Full Job Description

Benefits Administrator / Payroll Specialist

Manage employee benefits programs.

Knowledge of different employee benefit programs and options;

· Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring.

Facilitate employment onboarding

· Understanding of payroll withholdings and set up;

· Ensure compliance with Federal and State labor laws and employment standards.

· Assist with preparation, updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating

Assist with handling of worker's comp claims;

· Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.

· Review and monitor compliance with wage and hour policies.

Assist with processing of payroll for multiple locations;

Payroll reporting and tax filings as required

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· College degree preferred or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Benefits Administration, HR and payroll with increasing levels of administrative support.

· Maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, supervisors, and other departments.

· Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.

· Must be a self-starter with ability to think ahead.

· Excellent written and communications skills

· Outstanding administrative and organizational skills with ability to balance rapidly shifting priorities.

· Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office, Payroll & Benefits software;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
