We're looking for a skilled and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our team and support our growing production demands.

Job Summary

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to specifications. You will work closely with production supervisors and quality control to ensure each part meets strict tolerances and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to produce parts from blueprints and work orders
Select proper tooling based on material and job requirements
Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Read and interpret technical drawings and shop prints
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate bending angles and tolerances
Maintain clean and organized work area
Identify and report machine issues or defective materials
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

Experience operating a CNC press brake (preferred)
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting
Experience with Cincinnati, or similar machines a plus
