Job Title: Business Banking and Treasury Management Specialist
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
SUMMARY
The Business Banking and Treasury Management Specialist serves as the bank's primary resource for business deposit relationships and treasury management services. This position is responsible for the administration, implementation, maintenance, and support of the bank's ACH, Remote Deposit Capture (Merchant Capture), Positive Pay, and other electronic business banking services. The specialist acts as the primary point of contact for the bank's mid-sized and large business deposit customers, providing consultative service, technical support, and ongoing relationship management while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and bank policies.
This role partners closely with lenders, operations, and IT to deliver exceptional service and develop business deposit relationships that support the bank's growth objectives.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 3-5 years of banking experience, or relevant experience required.
· Experience with ACH processing and NACHA rules strongly preferred.
· Knowledge of business online banking platforms and remote deposit capture systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Valid driver’s license.
· Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) preferred or willingness to obtain.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Administer and oversee the bank's ACH Origination program, including customer onboarding, maintenance, limits, file processing, and risk monitoring.
- Manage the bank's Remote Deposit Capture (Merchant Capture) program, including implementation, equipment setup, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Administer additional treasury management products including Positive Pay, Wire Transfer services, Business Online Banking, and other cash management solutions.
- Ensure treasury management products remain compliant with NACHA Operating Rules, bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Open and maintain business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, money market, certificates of deposit, and specialized business account products.
- Coordinate the complete onboarding process for new business customers, ensuring timely setup of deposit accounts, online banking, ACH services, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, debit cards, and other treasury management products.
- Coordinate system testing, upgrades, and product enhancements with vendors and internal departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the bank's mid-sized and large business deposit customers.
- Build strong relationships through proactive communication and ongoing service.
- Conduct business customer reviews to identify opportunities for treasury management products and deposit growth.
- Resolve complex customer service issues related to electronic banking products quickly and professionally.
- Provide customized training for business customers on treasury management products and services.
- Partner with lenders and deposit staff to identify treasury management opportunities.
- Process ACH originator agreements, annual reviews, and risk assessments.
- Monitor ACH and treasury management activity for fraud, suspicious transactions, and operational risk.
- Maintain accurate documentation for treasury management services.
- Assist with audits, examinations, and compliance reviews.
- Develop and maintain procedures related to treasury management operations.
- Prepare reports related to treasury management usage, growth, and performance.
- Act as a representative for Malvern Bank in the community, at industry events, and with key stakeholders.
- Strengthen the bank's presence in community and business circles, advocating for financial solutions that support local growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Thorough understanding of ACH processing and NACHA Operating Rules.
· Knowledge of treasury management products and services.
· Strong understanding of business deposit accounts and commercial banking operations.
· Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
· High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential customer information.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software systems.
· Ability to explain complex banking products in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

The hours for this position are M-F: 8:00-4:30 with a 1-Hour Lunch
