Full Job Description

Customer Service Representative

At Mi-Fiber, we believe in treating customers right and providing the highest quality internet service possible. We like to say we’re “Iowa nice”! We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our close-knit, hard-working team. This is not a call center position – our CSRs work one-on-one with customers to provide the ultimate customer care experience. Our team works well together, supporting each other to get the job done. Wages

Wages start at $21 per hour and may start higher depending on experience. The maximum rate for the job is over $34 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

interacting with customers and potential customers via phone, email or in person
promoting and selling new and existing products and services
receiving trouble reports
processing payments and collecting unpaid accounts
other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

ability to promote Mi-Fiber goods and services
customer service and communication skills
proficiency in the use of computers, printers, and multi-line phone systems
proficiency with Windows, web browsers, and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
ability to establish and maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality of customer information
ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and distractions
ability to assist customers with new technology such as smart phones, tablets, and other wireless devices
ability to handle upset customers with patience and understanding
ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and work overtime when required
high school diploma or GED required, education and experience in related field preferred

Mi-Fiber, LLC is a subsidiary of GRM Networks. The CSR will be an employee of GRM Networks, but will be based in Urbandale, Iowa. GRM Networks is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
