This is a unique opportunity for a confident, results-oriented, and experienced HR professional to play a significant role in shaping the future of our organization and the communities we serve.

You are a dynamic and collaborative leader with:

Extensive HR Expertise: Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles, with a strong business acumen and deep understanding of the transportation industry. Expertise in talent management, change management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated success in developing and executing data-driven business strategies, leading culture transformation efforts, and implementing effective strategic initiatives.
Culture Development: Proven ability to collaborate with the executive team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, teamwork, and effective decision-making throughout the organization.
Trusted Guidance: A master coach and trusted advisor, adept at partnering with executive leaders to align employee strategies with organizational goals.
Commitment to Excellence: A passion for fostering a safe, fun, transparent, and high-performing culture that supports team success and organizational efficiency.

What You Will Do

Lead efforts to align HR strategy with Hirschbach’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
Drive innovative talent management strategies, including recruitment, retention, leadership development, and succession planning that foster a productive, proactive, and engaged workforce.
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
Manage the HR budget and resources effectively, optimizing investments in people and processes.
Partner with executive leadership team to drive the organization's culture, human resources and talent strategy, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employee law.
Advise senior leadership on organizational design, change management, and employee engagement strategies.
Provide guidance and support on HR-related issues, including knowledgeable coaching at all levels throughout the organization; find workable solutions to complex issues.
Optimize HR workflows for efficiency, ensuring processes are streamlined and effective in supporting business and employee needs.
Nurture a positive working environment and ensure high levels of employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks related to employment practices.

What You Bring

15+ years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in executive leadership roles.
Expertise in the transportation/logistics industry strongly preferred.
Proven success leading cultural transformation and strategic HR initiatives.
Deep understanding of employment law, talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS in HR or related field) preferred.
SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
