Position Summary
We are actively seeking experienced Ironworkers/Rebar Installers to join our growing team on projects throughout San Diego County, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and Los Angeles County. Multiple positions are available for qualified candidates with a minimum oftwo (2) years of reinforcing steel installation, ironworker, or related construction experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Place, position, and secure reinforcing steel on commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects.
- Install reinforcing steel in horizontal and vertical concrete formwork systems.
- Identify and work with various sizes, lengths, and bend configurations of reinforcing steel.
- Cut, tie, place, and secure reinforcing steel using industry-specific hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, placing plans, detail sheets, and project specifications.
- Work collaboratively with foremen, journeymen, apprentices, contractors, and project personnel.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and less experienced team members.
- Work safely around cranes, heavy equipment, and other construction operations.
- Perform work at elevated heights when required while utilizing appropriate fall protection and safety equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Employee may be required to perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet operational, business, and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Previous ironworker, rebar installation, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications preferred.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to various project locations throughout Southern California.
- Overtime, weekends, and alternative schedules may be required based on project and operational needs.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, and climb throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier materials may require team lifting or mechanical assistance.
- Work in outdoor construction environments subject to changing weather conditions.
- Perform repetitive physical activities involving the use of hands, arms, shoulders, and back.
- Work at elevated heights and on uneven surfaces when required.
- Demonstrate sufficient vision, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination to safely perform job duties.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and fall protection equipment.
