Full Job Description

Retail / Grocery Loss Control Consultant

We're a commercial insurance agency seeking an experienced Loss Control Consultant to support some of our grocery store clients in Orange County, California. This role focuses on assisting our clients with their ongoing risk management programs across workers' compensation and general liability. You'll work hand in hand with store management and employees to make their stores safer, both for team members and for customers.

About the Role:

This position offers a ton of flexibility. We'll work together to set service schedules each month based on client needs and your availability. You'll visit store locations throughout Orange County to attend managers' meetings, perform safety walkthroughs, conduct training, or work with store management on their current programs to create efficiencies.

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping businesses succeed, someone who can take the complex challenges of risk management and turn them into practical solutions. Prior grocery store experience is a huge plus.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in retail (specifically grocery), the food industry, food safety, or loss control
Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA standards
Strong communication skills with hourly employees, store managers, and leadership
Spanish fluency strongly preferred but not required

What We Offer:

1099 contract, approximately 15 to 25 hours per month
Very flexible schedule
Variety: multiple store locations throughout Orange County, no two weeks look the same
