Pink Diamond Laser is a growing, RN founded boutique laser and aesthetics studio in Newport Beach looking for the right Registered Nurse to join our team.
Pink Diamond is a boutique, independently owned laser and aesthetics studio with a strong brand, loyal client base, and personalized approach to care. There is no traditional receptionist or front desk team. Our nurses are trusted to manage their own treatment days, clients, documentation, room flow, and overall client experience.
We are looking for someone confident, warm, professional, reliable, comfortable working independently, and excited about becoming an important part of a growing and established brand.
This position will begin part time with hands on training alongside the owner and is intended to grow into a consistent weekday position.
The Long Term Opportunity
Our owner currently treats clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We are looking for a nurse who can begin training now with the goal of eventually taking over some or all of those treatment days while also helping us expand into Mondays.
Our ideal long term schedule for this position is:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
The position may begin with only one or two days or partial training days depending on experience, availability, and appointment volume, with the opportunity to grow into approximately 2 to 3 consistent days per week.
This is an ideal position for an RN who wants a meaningful long term role in aesthetics without necessarily wanting a traditional five day workweek.
Services at Pink Diamond
Pink Diamond currently offers or is expanding into:
- Laser hair removal
- Pico laser tattoo removal
- Cosmetic eyebrow tattoo removal
- VI Peel treatments
- Microneedling
- PRP hair restoration
- Additional aesthetic services as the practice continues to grow
Training will be provided as appropriate based on previous experience, competency, company protocols, and applicable scope of practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing laser hair removal treatments
- Performing laser tattoo removal treatments once appropriately trained
- Performing client consultations and assessments
- Reviewing treatment history and treatment plans
- Providing pre treatment and post treatment education
- Accurately documenting treatments in our EMR
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Managing your own appointment flow throughout the day
- Building genuine relationships with clients and providing an amazing client experience
- Learning additional aesthetic treatments offered by Pink Diamond
- Participating in social media and content creation for Pink Diamond Laser
Social Media Participation Is a Required Part of This Position
Social media has been a major part of building Pink Diamond Laser and continues to be an essential part of how we educate clients, grow our brand, and connect with our community.
Regular participation in social media content is a required responsibility of this position. It is not optional.
You do not need to be an influencer, have a large following, or already be an expert content creator. We can help with ideas, filming, direction, and what to say.
However, you must be willing and comfortable:
- Being photographed and filmed regularly while at work
- Speaking on camera
- Participating in Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short form content
- Demonstrating treatments and explaining services on camera
- Participating in educational, informative, fun, and personality driven content
- Helping capture before and after content when appropriate
- Participating in behind the scenes content
- Occasionally helping brainstorm or create content
- Representing Pink Diamond Laser professionally while allowing your own personality to come through
Please do not apply if you are unwilling to appear on camera or participate in social media content as part of your regular job responsibilities.
This requirement is just as much a part of the position as treating clients, completing documentation, or maintaining your treatment room.

We are specifically looking for someone who is excited to become part of that brand rather than someone who only wants to perform treatments behind the scenes.

Required:
- Active California Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to manage clients without a receptionist or traditional front desk staff
- Comfortable using technology, electronic medical records, and scheduling systems
- Fully willing and comfortable participating regularly in social media content
- Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera as an ongoing part of the position
- Interested in a long term position and growing with the company
- Able to eventually commit to a Monday through Wednesday schedule as the position grows
- Professional, organized, detail oriented, and personable
- Comfortable learning new treatments and receiving hands on training
Preferred but not required:
- Previous laser hair removal experience
- Previous aesthetic nursing or med spa experience
- Candela laser experience
- Pico laser or tattoo removal experience
- Experience with aesthetic consultations
- Experience creating social media content
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Vietnamese or any additional language is also a plus
Previous laser experience is definitely preferred, but it is not mandatory.
For the right person, personality, reliability, independence, willingness to learn, client communication, social media comfort, and long term fit matter tremendously.
We can teach the right nurse our treatments and protocols.

Compensation
$40.00–$50.00 per hour
Starting compensation will depend on previous laser and aesthetic experience, ability to work independently, and relevant skills.
