Bartender
Summary/Objective
We require Fine Dining Establishment Experience a must. 2 years plus
Prepare cocktails for Guests at the bar top and for the servers in the restaurant. Take food and beverage orders, retrieve, and serve food and beverages to Guest tables, courteously and efficiently; collect payments; assist in maintenance of dining area.
Knowledge of Italian Wines would be preferred. This is a fine dining Italian Restaurant in addition within the restaurant we have Mercato. Mercato is a high end Italian Shopping experience for our customers to purchase wines, champagne, cheese, deli meats and pizza dough etc. Mercato offers array of coffee drinks and baked Italian pastries that are prepared within the restaurant.
Qualifications:
1. Must speak Fluent English.
3. Must be 21 years of age or older.
4. Must have at least (two) year of experience in the Food and Beverage or Hospitality
industry.
5. Must have a High School Diploma.
6. Must be available to work at least 20 hours a week.
7. Clean background check.
9. Must have two valid forms of identification that qualify employee to work in the United States.
10. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Position Functions
· Complete opening duties as assigned.
· Understanding of Craft Cocktails. Mixologist
· Understanding of Italian wines.
· Take Guests' food and beverage orders, utilizing salesmanship techniques.
· Input orders into point of sale system (tablet).
· Legibly document orders when point of sale system is inoperative and distribute orders to appropriate manufacturing stations.
· Prepare all alcoholic beverage items for the bar top and for the servers.
· Open wine/champagne bottles and serve in accordance with restaurant standards.
· Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to Guest in accordance with restaurant standards.
· Anticipate Guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all Guests, however busy.
· Interact in courteous and professional manner with Guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
· Interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly in resolving Guest complaints.
· Follow the supervisor's instructions.
· Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and bar.
· Remove soiled wares from tables as needed and transport to dishwashing area.
· Clear each course and clean and re-set tables of assigned station when needed according to restaurant standards.
· Present Guest checks (tablet) and process payments.
· Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies.
· Report tips at the end of assigned shift.
· Complete bar close out per restaurant standards.
· Complete closing duties as assigned.
· Complete all closing reports as assigned and leave duty after reporting to supervisor.
· Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
· Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.

Required Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 years of hosting or hospitality experience in upscale environment
Preferred Education and Experience
· 3 years bar-tending in a Craft Cocktail bar/restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has not supervisory responsibility
Physical Demands
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Stands during entire shift.
· Reaches, bends and stoops frequently.
· Verbally communicates with guests and phone callers.
· Must be able to read and write.
· This position requires frequent washing of hands.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position may require long hours, weekend work, and holidays.
