Full Job Description

Staffmax Healthcare is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer for a fully remote healthcare analytics project. This role is ideal for a data professional with strong Epic, Caboodle, SQL, healthcare analytics, and data visualization experience who can turn complex healthcare data into actionable insights.

Remote candidates accepted only from: Texas, Missouri, Idaho, Tennessee, or Oklahoma

Compensation Highlights

$2,272 Weekly Gross
$1,596 Weekly Tax-Free Stipends
$16.90/hr Taxable Rate
$56.80/hr Blended Rate

What You’ll Do

Analyze non-Caboodle datasets and identify required data elements
Map non-Epic datasets into existing Caboodle structures
Design and develop custom Caboodle database structures
Create custom imports from Clarity to Caboodle
Develop imports for non-Epic data
Design data models based on organizational goals and use cases
Configure and test Epic analytics content
Build and maintain Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, Radar, and Cogito SQL content
Develop custom SQL metrics and Radar settings
Modify existing reports and distribute analytics content to end users
Build and maintain cubes, extracts, custom SlicerDicer filters, third-party BI tools, and Epic data in Caboodle
Review analytics build quality, perform testing, and support upgrades
Provide timely remote support to end users, including after-hours support when needed

Required Experience

3+ years of relevant experience – Required
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
Hands-on experience with Epic reporting and analytics
Experience with Caboodle
Understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
Strong analytical thinking and data visualization skills

Epic / Caboodle Experience

External candidates should have active Epic certification in at least one of the following areas:

Access Data Model
Clinical Data Model
Revenue Data Model
Caboodle Development for Non-Epic Data
Caboodle Development for Clarity Data
Epic Cogito Data Model
Clarity Data Model
Caboodle Data Model

Highly Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
Experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA or FDA
Strong understanding of Epic Clarity, Chronicles, and Caboodle
Healthcare data modeling experience

Requirements

Must be located in Texas, Missouri, Idaho, Tennessee, or Oklahoma
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable working with end users and subject matter experts
Strong attention to data accuracy, security, and confidentiality
