Full Job Description

Do you love planning, hosting, and working with fun and awesome team mates?! We are currently looking for successful and enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Wedding Coordinators looking to grow into Lead Wedding Planners.

We need the support for pre-event operational planning, setup&strikeout, client management, design, and day of event coordination. An LVLF Event Specialist provides a friendly and wonderful guest experience for vendors, clients, and family, team mates via email, messaging, video chat, phone and in person. This individual ensures satisfaction by listening to management and client needs, answering questions, and by capturing important details to ensure a positive client experience. This position also helps support all responsibilities of Management/Leads and overall well being of company culture, experience, and growth. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to assist with planning and executing weddings during our busy season. The role requires working weekends (Friday through Sunday) with shifts typically ranging from 8 to 15 hours. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and love the excitement of weddings, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for team mates who are available Part-time, On-Call, Internships

Experience we are looking for:

Event Planning& Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
Hospitality: 1 year (Required)
Excellent time management and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Must be able to lift 30lbs+_
Must be available on weekends, Friday - Sunday, remote administrative work a plus
Have a passion for weddings, events, and the hospitality industry~ Possess a minimum high school degree to college degree or be a current student in an accredited academic program or have substantial hospitality experience
Have at least one year of hospitality experience (preferred but not required)
Have strong computer skills~ solid knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. MAC, AislePlanner is a plus!
Be able to analyze and solve problems while multitasking~ Has tremendous interpersonal skills (verbal/written/listening/presentation)
Possess strong organization and time management skills
Have the willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done
Be willing to work a variety of shifts, weekends, evenings and holidays~ Be able to exhibit grace under pressure
Can relate to a diverse set of team members and clients
Be able to lift chairs, move tables and participate in the set-up/tear-down of banquets.
A creative, artistic and designer eye is a plus! But not required

The position is a combination of the Event Assistant, Lead Coordinator, Wedding Coordinator, and Wedding Consultant Trainee. Individuals who are successful in all aspects of this position will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time position (and our Wedding Lead role plus a variety of roles) at Love and Life Events! Tips&Bonuses if eligible.
