Requirement: Worked in food manufacturing at least 2 years.
Education: At least High school deploma or GED.
General Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing the QC department to perform the quality control responsibilities to ensure the products are produced in compliance with all company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
<<Essential Job Functions>>
Quality Control: 50%
· Check the production line and communicate with operators and supervisors to ensure that established policies, rules and regulations and procedures are followed by them.
· Review Facility Production Reports to make sure parameters do not deviate from our standard.
· Control raw materials by doing inspection before the receiving and report defectives to suppliers.
· Provide employees with training regarding hygiene management and Food Safety.
· Data analysis regarding process control to maintain quality of product.
· Prepare and review Customer Complaints Reports.
· Review Suppliers’ Documents.
· Report any non-compliance to supervisor and/or management.
Quality Assurance: 40%
· Communicate with raw material suppliers to assure food safety.
· Organize Production Data and Documentations to ensure traceability.
· Execute corrections with others given by auditors and government agencies.
· Propose and execute corrective actions to minimize risks related to food safety.
· Support supervisor to update company policies and programs related to food safety.
· Support supervisor and management to assure adherence and compliance with all company standards and policies and industry, State, County, City, and Federal regulatory requirements, such as FDA, Fire Department, Cal/OSHA, and Health.
Other & Miscellaneous : 10%
· Handle Facility Management Special Request.
· Handle Other Department Request (Non-QC related request).

Education Requirements
· One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
· Any experience in Food Processing Quality position is preferable.
