Are you the Producer everyone leans on — the one who delivers their own work and makes sure everyone else delivers theirs?
We're looking for a Senior Producer, Film, AV and Broadcast Production to serve as the operational backbone of our production team. Your primary focus is owning the systems, workflows, and traffic management that keep the entire production team running smoothly — while also carrying a select number of projects yourself to stay close to the work and lead by example.
Working in close alignment with the Head of Production, you’ll manage the workflow of all projects. You’ll define the processes. You’ll build the systems. You’ll control the flow of work from intake to delivery. When work comes in, you will align with the Head of Production and assign resources accordingly.
You’ll ensure all project managers / producers are informed and have all the information they need. You’ll be the guide for ensuring they are on task, tracking, and delivering. You’re the one who holds the team accountable — not by hovering, but by building an operational framework so clear and so reliable that nothing slips.
Incoming requests from project managers, account directors, and other business units flow through you first. In collaboration with the Head of Production, you vet them for accuracy, ensure all the necessary information is present, and deliver clear, actionable briefs to the team — so the Head of Production and project managers can stay focused on what they do best: delivering exceptional work.
In addition to owning the operational workflow, you’ll carry a select number of projects yourself, leading them from kickoff through delivery. You lead by example — setting the standard for how projects are managed at this agency.
This role reports directly to and works in close collaboration with the Head of Production.
This position is based out of our Costa Mesa office and supports projects globally. Our team designs and delivers exceptional live experiences, broadcast productions, and branded content for world-class clients.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Traffic Control
Manage the intake, triage, and routing of all incoming projects. Maintain a real-time view of every active project and ensure workloads are balanced and priorities are clear across the team and in alignment with the Head of Production.
Systems & Workflows
Design, implement, and continuously improve the operational systems and workflows that govern how work moves through the agency. From project kickoff templates to status reporting cadences to file management — if it’s a process, you own it.
Resource Allocation
Own capacity planning across the production team. Know who’s available, who’s maxed out, and where freelance or vendor support is needed. Work with the Head of Production to ensure the right people are on the right projects at the right time.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the operational point of contact between production, creative, and client-facing teams. Ensure seamless handoffs, clear expectations, and proactive communication at every stage.
Project Delivery
Carry and lead your own projects end-to-end — managing budgets, timelines, stakeholder communication, and delivery. You set the bar for how projects are run and your work serves as the benchmark for the rest of the PM team.
Risk & Problem Solving
Identify bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, and resource gaps before they become problems. Escalate to the Head of Production when needed, but come with solutions — not just flags.
Standards & Accountability
In collaboration with the Head of Production, set the bar for how projects are run at this agency. Define what “good” looks like for timelines, communication, documentation, and delivery — and hold everyone to it.
Reporting & Status Cadences
Own and run recurring production meetings, weekly status updates, and capacity reviews. You set the rhythm that keeps the entire team in sync — ensuring every project has visibility, every blocker is surfaced, and every stakeholder knows exactly where things stand.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
First 30 Days — Learn the Machine
Shadow every active project. Meet every PM, producer, and key stakeholder. Understand what’s working, what’s broken, and where the gaps are. Get a full picture of tools, processes, and team dynamics.
Days 30–60 — Build the Framework
In collaboration with the Head of Production, implement your operational systems. Establish the intake process, reporting cadences, and status meeting structure. Begin actively managing traffic and resource allocation. Pick up your first projects. Your PMs should already feel the difference.
Days 60–90 — Own It
You’re fully running the operation and delivering your own projects. You are the one tracking every project. Workflows are documented, meetings are running on your cadence, and the team is operating with clarity and structure.
