Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team In Alliance, Fort Worth for a 1099 position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including adult and geriatric patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote mental health and well-being, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

EMDR trained will be preferred.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
Engage with patients' families to provide education and support regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid license as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and experience working with diverse populations.
Proficiency in patient assessment methods and medical documentation practices.
Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Experience in social work or related fields is a plus.
A commitment to providing compassionate care and supporting the mental health needs of individuals across various age groups.
