This position provides support to our customers and their patients located throughout the United States and may require multiple licenses and/or certifications to practice across various States. Services provided to our customers and their patients include, but are not limited to: Medication Adherence, Medication Reconciliation, Management of refills and other care extension services. This position is the primary point of contact for all non-clinical activities related to Medication Management coordinating with the patient, pharmacies, and providers of medical care. Success is measured in terms of adherence to strict guidelines, improved patient outcomes, satisfied customers, meeting, or exceeding quality standards, producing consistent and high-quality work and collaboration with other team members to achieve objectives. You will work on assignments that are moderately complex and may require judgment when identifying barriers and conducting interventions. Routine work may be completed with little to no instruction, new assignments given with general instructions.
This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am - 7pm EST. The final shift will be determined by business needs and will remain a fixed, set schedule once assigned.
This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be during normal business hours
Primary Responsibilities:

Answer telephonic and electronic messages related to patient refill requests to determine administrative appropriateness of submitting provider message to review refill request

When indicated, schedule patients for an outpatient visit per existing scheduling protocols

Interaction with internal and external customers, providing outstanding services utilizing superior customer service skills

Answer questions and complete requests

Refer and escalate to nurse or pharmacist when appropriate

Accurately Maintain documentation and logs
-
Advocate for and encourage and support patient

Demonstrate superior customer service skills

Actively identify barriers that have prevented patient from obtaining refill through pharmacy

Maintain patient confidentiality per policies and procedures

Communication with patients, providers, pharmacies, and provider office staff in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and mature manner

May provide guidance and training to less experienced staff members

Time entry in assigned tool(s) as required by management

Timely response to email, IM and voice mail as required by management

Active engagement in team meetings, discussions, and in-services

Participate in business unit and/or team projects and quality initiatives

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medication Administration Certification or Pharmacy Technician Certification

Must be 18 years of age OR older

2+ years of healthcare experience

Ability to work any 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST. The final shift will be determined by business needs and will remain a fixed, set schedule once assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management system(s), including patient appointment and procedure scheduling

Experience working remotely with patients in a telephonic capacity

Understanding of health service-related processes

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
