Elliot White Gun Co. is a premier firearms retailer, custom shop, and gunsmithing facility located in North Richland Hills, Texas. We specialize in quality firearms, precision gunsmithing, custom Cerakote finishes and firearm restorations.
We are a growing company looking for a motivated gunsmith who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to continue developing their skills in a professional shop.

Job Overview
This position involves performing a wide variety of gunsmithing services while maintaining exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about firearms.
You'll work alongside experienced staff on everything from routine repairs to custom firearm builds.
ResponsibilitiesFirearm Repair & Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair customer firearms
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and reliability issues
- Clean, inspect, and service firearms
- Replace worn or damaged components
Custom Gunsmithing
- Install sights, optics, and accessories
- Barrel installations and muzzle device installation
- Trigger upgrades and action tuning
- Firearm assembly and fitting
- Minor machining, fitting, and polishing
- Assist with Cerakote preparation and reassembly
Shop Operations
- Maintain organized work areas and tools
- Accurately document work orders
- Communicate repair recommendations with customers and staff
- Test function and ensure firearms meet safety standards
- Help maintain efficient shop workflow
Qualifications
Preferred
- Graduate of an accredited gunsmithing program OR
- 1–5+ years of professional gunsmithing experience
Required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to safely disassemble and reassemble a wide variety of firearms
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be legally eligible to work in a firearms business
Experience With Any of the Following is a Plus
- AR-15 platform
- 1911/2011 pistols
- Glock armorer experience
- Bolt-action rifles
- Shotguns
- Metal refinishing
- Welding
- Lathe and milling machine operation
- Precision measuring tools
- Threading barrels
- Stock fitting
