Ecommerce Manager

Location: Dallas, TX
Reports To: Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused Ecommerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day performance of our Shopify Plus storefront and digital merchandising strategy. Reporting directly to the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, this individual will play a key role in optimizing the online customer experience, driving conversion, increasing average order value, and supporting revenue growth across our direct-to-consumer business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys balancing strategy with execution, and has a passion for creating exceptional online shopping experiences.

What You'll Do

Shopify Storefront Management

Own the day-to-day management of the Shopify Plus storefront, including product pages, collections, navigation, promotions, and overall site merchandising.
Ensure all product pages meet best-in-class DTC standards, including compelling product imagery, lifestyle photography, customer reviews, size guides, and clear calls-to-action.
Coordinate with internal creative teams to ensure product imagery and on-site creative assets are current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.

Ecommerce Merchandising & Campaign Execution

Lead digital merchandising across all product categories and collections to maximize product discoverability and sales.
Manage the ecommerce promotional calendar, coordinating new product launches, restocks, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events with cross-functional teams.
Execute online merchandising initiatives that support key business objectives and improve customer engagement.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Own website conversion performance by continuously analyzing the customer journey and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Plan and execute ongoing A/B testing across headlines, imagery, page layouts, calls-to-action, and merchandising strategies.
Optimize mobile shopping experiences, checkout flow, landing pages, and site speed to improve conversion rates.
Monitor performance against conversion goals and recommend enhancements based on customer behavior and analytics.

Average Order Value & Customer Experience

Develop and optimize initiatives that increase average order value, including bundle offers, free shipping thresholds, cross-sell opportunities, and product recommendations.
Manage on-site merchandising modules such as "Complete the Look," product bundles, and promotional messaging to enhance the shopping experience.

Email & SMS Growth

Partner closely with the Email Marketing Coordinator to support subscriber acquisition and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
Establish weekly list growth goals while monitoring list health, engagement, unsubscribe rates, and deliverability.
Segment customer audiences based on purchase behavior, acquisition source, and product affinity to improve campaign relevance and performance.
Support initiatives that drive repeat purchases and customer lifetime value, with a focus on increasing 90-day repeat purchase rates.

Inventory & Merchandising Planning

Partner with the buying and merchandising teams to manage DTC inventory allocation and open-to-buy planning.
Monitor product performance and inventory availability to ensure healthy online assortment and minimize stock disruptions.
Analyze return trends by SKU and collaborate with buying and product teams to identify opportunities to improve product representation, fit, and customer satisfaction.

SEO & Site Optimization

Support on-site SEO best practices by optimizing product titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and URL structures.
Help improve organic traffic and search visibility through ongoing site optimization efforts.

Ecommerce Technology & Innovation

Evaluate, implement, and manage Shopify Plus apps and third-party integrations that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
Stay current on emerging ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices, bringing forward new ideas and testing opportunities.

Qualifications

4+ years of ecommerce management experience within a direct-to-consumer retail or consumer products brand.
Hands-on experience managing Shopify Plus storefronts.
Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, conversion optimization, customer journey mapping, and digital best practices.
Experience with Shopify apps, ecommerce analytics platforms, and A/B testing tools.
Familiarity with email and SMS marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for ecommerce.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with lifestyle, apparel, fashion, or consumer goods brands.
Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), heat mapping tools, and ecommerce reporting platforms.
Experience supporting merchandising strategies that improve conversion, average order value, and customer retention.

Success in This Role

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to create an exceptional online shopping experience while driving meaningful improvements in conversion rate, average order value, customer retention, and overall ecommerce revenue. You'll combine analytical thinking with strong merchandising instincts to continually optimize the customer journey and support the brand's ongoing digital growth.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
