Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist / Buyer to support sourcing and purchasing of distribution transformer materials in the U.S. market. This role focuses on local supplier sourcing, supplier onboarding and review, RFQ/bidding, price negotiation, purchasing follow-up, and reporting. The ideal candidate should be familiar with local distribution transformer materials and supplier resources, and should have strong computer, driving, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

· Source and develop local U.S. suppliers for distribution transformer materials and components.

· Support supplier onboarding, supplier review/audit coordination, and vendor management.

· Run RFQs, collect and compare quotations, support bidding, and conduct price negotiations.

· Follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, supplier communication, and supply issues.

· Maintain accurate purchasing records and support supplier/resource analysis, cost comparisons, and routine reports.

· Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance teams as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, International Trade, or a related field.

· At least 2 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience; manufacturing or transformer materials experience is preferred.

· Knowledge of supply chain management, basic finance, and international trade.

· Familiarity with local U.S. distribution transformer materials and supplier resources is strongly preferred.

· General understanding of U.S. import policies, customs processes, and related regulations is preferred.

· Valid U.S. driver’s license with good driving history; able to visit suppliers as needed.

· Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; able to conduct data analysis and prepare reports/presentations.

· Strong communication, follow-through, and cross-functional coordination skills.

· Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Salary Range

$45,000 -65,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
