Commercial Loan Operations Specialist

About the Role

At Harmony Bank, we believe banking is about people first. We're looking for a Commercial Loan Operations Specialist who enjoys keeping things organized, catching the details others miss, and helping our lending team deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.

If you have experience with commercial loans, enjoy working behind the scenes to keep everything moving, and take pride in accuracy, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Book new commercial loans and renewals while ensuring all information is entered accurately based on supporting loan documentation.
Review loan packages for completeness and identify any missing documentation.
Prepare commercial loan documents.
Partner closely with Loan Officer Assistants throughout the loan process.
Process construction and other loan funding draw requests.
Track and enter loan exceptions (ticklers) into the system.
Scan and index customer and loan documentation.
Maintain accurate loan records while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
File and maintain credit and collateral files.
Communicate professionally with customers, insurance companies, and title companies.
Assist with other loan operations duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Experience with commercial loan operations (2+ years preferred).
Knowledge of commercial real estate documentation and recording requirements.
Understanding of business entities and required documentation.
Experience with construction, commercial, industrial, and consumer loan documentation.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Great communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with others.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of two years of commercial loan operations experience.
