Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Income Tax Preparer and become a vital part of delivering expert tax services to individuals and businesses. In this energetic role, you will leverage your accounting and tax expertise to prepare accurate tax returns, ensure compliance with tax laws, and provide exceptional client service. Your enthusiasm for financial concepts and attention to detail will drive success in helping clients navigate complex tax situations while fostering trust and satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and file individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using advanced tax preparation software.
Analyze financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other tax forms, to ensure accurate reporting.
Stay current with tax laws, regulations, and updates to provide compliant and optimized tax solutions.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information, explain tax strategies, and answer questions.
Assist clients with tax planning, deductions, credits, and other strategies to maximize their benefits.
Maintain organized records of all tax documents, reports, and correspondence for audit readiness.
Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual and corporate tax return filing.
Strong knowledge of tax law, compliance requirements, and relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency with tax preparation software such as TurboTax, Drake Tax, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks and Sage for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent math skills combined with strong analysis abilities to interpret financial data accurately.
Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients of varying backgrounds.
Experience with bookkeeping, financial software, and technical accounting practices is highly desirable.
Demonstrated customer service skills with a proactive approach to client engagement.
