Job Summary
BlueLine Industries, a growing metal fabrication company in Chino, CA, is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in light-gauge sheet metal and structural steel fabrication, experience with multiple welding techniques, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials, including light-gauge sheet metal, ductwork, and structural steel up to ½”.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Fit, square, and tack weld components with close tolerances.
- Operate fabrication machinery such as grinders, saws, and plasma cutters.
- Perform layout, drilling, forming, pipe threading, rigging, and component assembly as needed.
- Safely operate cranes and forklifts to move and position materials.
- Conduct inspections to verify alignment, weld quality, and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following company safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project leads to ensure efficiency and quality on every job.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques.
- Skilled in working with light-gauge sheet metal and structural steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, weld symbols, and technical documents accurately.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Knowledge of machining or ductwork fabrication processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Welding certifications (AWS D1.1 or equivalent) preferred but not required.
