Job description

This position would be for our dual brand - Fairfield by Marriott & TownePlace Suites

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests from check-in through check-out
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression of the hotel
Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Manage reservations, room assignments, and rate verification
Process payments, authorize credit cards, and handle cash transactions accurately
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest questions about the hotel, reservations, and local attractions
Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary
Maintain accurate guest accounts and ensure billing information is correct
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for arrivals
Communicate with maintenance regarding room issues or service requests
Monitor lobby and front desk activity to ensure a safe and professional environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and guest areas
Handle guest packages, deliveries, and mail when necessary
Complete daily shift reports and communicate important updates during shift changes
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to provide an outstanding guest experience
Maintain and close pool area
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a similar role.
· The ability to communicate verbally and electronically
· Computer experience, especially Fosse, helpful
Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills.
Attentive to detail.
Friendly, service-driven disposition.
