Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Flexible Shifts, Real OT, Paid Training

Norlite Nursing Center | Full-Time & Part-Time

Looking for a CNA job that actually works with your life—not against it?
At Norlite, you choose the shift, earn real overtime, and work with residents you actually get to know.

Pay & Shift Options (Clear and Up Front)

12-hour shifts (Full-Time):

Work 3 days/week, get 4 days off
Earn 12 hours of OT every week
Starting “average hourly” equivalent:
$22.84/hr – Certified
$22.48/hr – Uncertified (paid training available)
Higher starting pay with 2+ years experience

8-hour shifts:

$19.58–$20.37/hr starting

Annual wage increases per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Choose Your Start Time

Start your shift at 0200, 0600, 1000, 1400, 1800, or 2200
Tell us your availability—we’ll work around it.

Every-other-weekend requirement

(or equivalent, like every Sunday)

Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Take and document vital signs
Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff
Provide emotional support and companionship
Work as part of a collaborative care team
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment

Current Michigan CNA certification OR willingness to complete paid training
