Position Title: Senior Typist-Student Services (Boynton)
Brief Description: The work involves the performance of a variety of secretarial duties in the Student Services office of a middle school. Maintain confidential student records, schedule conferences and meetings, report card printing, and answering phone calls. Interface with visitors, students, and families. Other duties as assigned by the Principal and School Counselors.

Required Qualifications:

Must be eligible for appointment as a Senior Typist by Civil Service
Civil Service Requirements:
One year of full-time paid secretarial or clerical experience, or its part-time and/or volunteer equivalent.
Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment; good knowledge of business arithmetic and English; skill in keyboarding at a predetermined rate of speed; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to write legibly; ability to successfully work with and serve a diverse local community; good judgment; accuracy; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
