Senior Program Manager – Supply Chain & Distribution

Our client is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic supply chain initiatives supporting warehouse operations, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics transformation. This individual will oversee complex programs including the implementation of Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), optimization of Manhattan Distributed Order Management (DOM), onboarding of new third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and future supply chain modernization efforts.
The role will serve as the bridge between Supply Chain Operations, Distribution Center leadership, Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives across warehouse and distribution network.
This position is remote and requires alignment with Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Transformation
- Lead enterprise-scale supply chain programs focused on warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment, and distribution.
- Manage the implementation and adoption of Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) across distribution center operations.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve supply chain processes, operational efficiency, and inventory visibility.
- Drive planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Distribution & Logistics Programs
- Oversee enhancements and continuous improvement efforts for Manhattan Distributed Order Management (DOM), ensuring efficient product allocation, fulfillment routing, and shipment execution.
- Lead evaluation, onboarding, and integration of new third-party logistics (3PL) providers supporting distribution and transportation operations.
- Coordinate logistics planning activities between warehouses, stores, transportation providers, and supply chain leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful implementation of new logistics capabilities.
Warehouse & Operational Excellence
- Partner closely with warehouse operations teams to ensure technology solutions align with business processes and operational needs.
- Support inventory planning, warehouse workforce processes, inbound receiving, outbound shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
- Facilitate organizational readiness, training, change management, and operational adoption activities for new systems and processes.
Strategic Initiatives
- Support future distribution network optimization and warehouse consolidation initiatives.
- Participate in merger, acquisition, integration, or warehouse network consolidation projects when applicable.
- Develop executive-level reporting and governance materials for senior leadership stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
- 5+ years supporting Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Fulfillment, or Warehouse Operations initiatives.
- Experience leading large-scale supply chain technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory management, fulfillment, and distribution operations.
- Experience working directly with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and vendor onboarding initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs involving both business and technology teams.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Manhattan Associates products.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS strongly preferred.
- Experience with Manhattan Distributed Order Management (DOM).
- Experience leading warehouse modernization or distribution transformation programs.
- Experience supporting retail, e-commerce, omnichannel, or consumer goods supply chains.
- Experience with warehouse consolidation, network optimization, or merger/integration initiatives.
- PMP certification preferred.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
