Our growing CPA firm is seeking a motivated professional to join our Client Advisory, Accounting & Tax Services team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with business owners, providing accounting, tax, and advisory services that help clients make informed decisions and achieve their goals.

Position Summary

As a CAAS Associate, you will assist clients with bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, tax preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. You will work closely with business owners and management teams to deliver accurate financial information, identify opportunities for improvement, solve business challenges, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This individual enjoys building relationships, providing practical recommendations, and serving as a trusted advisor who helps clients improve performance and achieve long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive accounting, tax, and advisory services, including bookkeeping, payroll, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and tax return preparation.

· Prepare individual, business, payroll, and sales tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

· Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

· Apply analytical thinking, critical thinking, and sound judgment to research complex accounting, tax, and business issues and develop effective client-focused solutions.

· Communicate financial results, tax matters, and business recommendations clearly and effectively to clients and team members, helping them make informed decisions.

· Serve as a trusted advisor by helping clients understand financial results, navigate tax matters, and make informed strategic decisions.

· Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service, responsiveness, and professional expertise.

· Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines.

Education & Experience

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, or advisory services are highly desirable. Experience preparing tax returns is also considered a valuable asset and is a plus for this role.
