Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 school year?

Parallel is currently hiring Missouri Licensed School Social Workers for remote school-based opportunities supporting K-12 students.

We're seeking experienced clinicians who are passionate about helping students thrive by providing high-quality social work services in a collaborative virtual environment.

At a Glance

Fully remote
Part-time and full-time opportunities
Minimum availability of 15 school hours per week
1099 contract position
Supporting K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year

Qualifications

Active Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
Valid Missouri license or certification for K-12 school social work practice
Minimum of one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience (internships excluded)
Experience providing counseling, behavioral interventions, and mental health support in a school setting
Experience collaborating with IEP teams and supporting students through MTSS frameworks
Strong communication skills with students, families, and school teams

What You'll Do

Provide direct and indirect social work services to K-12 students and their families
Deliver individual and group counseling and implement behavioral interventions
Collaborate with IEP teams to develop student support plans and measurable goals
Consult with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
