The Resident Services Assistant/Caregiver will be responsible for providing assistance to our residents as needed to maintain a positive physical and social environment. Duties include: assisting residents with the activities of daily living; scheduling resident appointments; preparing in-service calendar; coordinating pharmacy activities; handling incoming and outgoing physician information; maintaining health records and logs; organizing and filing discharge records; and obtaining current materials.
Qualified candidates will be have a high school diploma/GED or higher and be able to complete state-required training (on the job training is offered) and meet all state health requirements. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the general public. Candidates must have compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
The Administrative/Medication Technician acts as the central liaison between the facility and each resident’s doctor. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating each resident’s medication, health and dietary information into a comprehensive needs and services plan.
Duties include: ensuring that all medications are ordered and administered according to physician’s orders; scheduling and transporting resident’s to medical appointments; coordinating pharmacy activities; handling incoming and outgoing physician information, maintaining health records and logs via a computer information system, working with other members of the admissions team to create individualized service plans for each resident. Other duties as required to ensure resident health and safety.
Technical skills required: Intermediate level skills with MS Office & MS Outlook.
Administrative skills required: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain state mandated medication certification within 14 days of employment, and RCFE Administrator’s certification within 90 days of employment.Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma/GED or higher and be able to complete state-required training (on the job training is offered) and meet all state health requirements.

Maintaining a clean house is very important to the successful operation of an assisted living facility. Housekeepers are responsible for providing a clean and sanitary living environment for residents. To that end, the Lead Housekeeper is responsible for:
- Communicating (verbally (and written via Residex)) with other housekeeping staff and caregivers to ensure that all housekeeping chores are completed in accordance with best cleaning practices and in a timely fashion.
- Creating and implementing a viable facility cleaning schedule.
- Communicating said schedule to Residex administrator.
- Ensuring said schedule is accurate.
- Proactively observing and reporting any needed housekeeping related needs or changes to your supervisor.
- Maintaining property supply and backup stock of all cleaning products, equipment and supplies.
- Ensuring that the housekeeping cart is fully stocked and ready for service 24/7.
- Ensuring that cleaning supply stations are fully stocked and ready for service 24/7.
- Ensuring a clean supply of cleaning rags.
- Creating and maintaining designated storage areas in the laundry room to store chemicals, supplies and equipment.
- Ensuring chemicals are secure.
- Ensuring all chemicals have current Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and said sheets are stored in a clearly labeled location and are accessible to state inspectors (CCL/OSHA).
- Adding supply orders to Costco orders and to other approved suppliers.
- Performing housekeeping, laundry service, and maintenance as required to maintain the facility in a neat, safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintain a neat and orderly laundry room and housekeeping closets.
- Following safety guidelines in the facility, including proper lifting technique and standard precautions.
- Reporting alleged, witnessed, or suspected abuse as outlined in personnel policies.
Secondary Duties Include:
- Observation of residents throughout the day.
- Notifying caregivers of residents’ needs.
- Assisting caregivers on any resident crisis, following facility policy and basic first aid training.
- Asking for assistance in the event all assigned duties cannot be completed. Function as a team, assisting coworkers as the need arises.
- And other duties as necessary to ensure the health, safety and compliance of the facility.
