Full Job Description

Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes. This position ensures compliance with organizational policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws while providing excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for payment.
Verify invoice accuracy, coding, and supporting documentation.
Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
Monitor payment due dates to maximize discounts and avoid late fees.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience and/or appropriate certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of financial analysis and compliance essential for success in this role.
