Territory Sales Engineer - Civil Construction Materials

Territory Sales - Civil, Structural, Sales Engineer - Construction Materials

Location: Remote from your home with 50% travel, Southeastern Territory

Salary: Base: $110,000 - $140,000 + Commission No Cap = OTE first year ($130,000 - $200,000+) plenty of room for aggressive growth in subsequent years.

Pivotal opening in a rich territory for a dynamic, technical professional in cutting-edge civil infrastructure construction solutions - sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Set appointments within the territory, conducting 'lunch and learn' presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients: Engineering firms, Contractors, Owners, Municipal infrastructure contacts such as: DOT
Identify and prospect potential clients in the commercial, engineering, general contractors, industrial & municipal construction industries.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Prepare and present sales reports, analyses & forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in: Civil or Structural Engineering or Construction Technology, Construction Management or equivalent experience in infrastructure construction engineering or related.
2+ years of work in the industry, ideal if you're working in civil construction, rebar, or related heavy earthwork construction - or related sales.
Ideal if you have your EIT, PE or related technical client relationship or business development experience with construction products, calling on general contractors, DOT, State and local municipalities, engineering firms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and anticipate customer needs.
Familiarity with lead generation strategies and customer relationship management techniques.
