Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a key role in diagnosing and recommending necessary repairs, communicating effectively with customers, and managing service appointments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, a strong knowledge of automotive systems, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

Utilize industry-standard software to manage service appointments and track customer information.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued and understood throughout the service process.
Upsell and promote additional services to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with service technicians to ensure that all necessary repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Manage service technicians' schedules and prioritize tasks to minimize wait times.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and stay knowledgeable about the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to dealership standards for appearance and safety.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
Experience working in a dealership or similar environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to diagnose and recommend necessary repairs.
Proficiency with service management software.
Experience with tire service and auto service management.
Strong customer service skills, with a focus on upselling and improving customer satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with auto body repair and automotive repair techniques.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
