Full Job Description

Mobile Phlebotomist Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to provide specimen collection services at patients' homes and workplaces. This role requires independent travel, accurate specimen collection, and exceptional patient care to support diagnostic testing. We pay on a per case basis, so the more exams you complete, the more money you make. Jackson is a busy location for us, so the case load will be consistent. Sometimes the cases can be just outside of Jackson, and Mileage compensation of .72c/Mile after 40 miles is provided.

Responsibilities

Travel to patient locations to collect blood and other specimens.
Perform venipuncture using proper aseptic techniques.
Obtain patient vital signs and relevant medical history as needed.
Label, process, and document specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
Maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
Follow all infection control, safety, and biohazard disposal protocols.

Qualifications

Experience performing venipuncture and specimen collection in a clinical, laboratory, or hospital setting.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory procedures.
Experience with specimen processing and maintaining sterile technique.
Strong communication and patient service skills.
Ability to work independently, manage travel between patient locations, and maintain a flexible schedule.
Hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Pay: $40.00 - $160.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
