About Core Growth Strategies
Core Growth Strategies provides accounting, tax, and advisory services to small businesses across the U.S. We partner with clients to deliver accurate financials, clear insights, and the kind of forward-looking guidance that helps owners make confident, informed decisions.
Our guiding principles—Deliver Unmatched Value, Lead with Integrity, Strive for Excellence, Commit to Growth and Learning, Celebrate Achievements—shape how we work with clients and with each other.
We are a tech-forward firm actively integrating AI and modern workflow tools into how we deliver client work. We believe the future of client accounting is less data entry and more insight, and we are building a team that is excited to work that way.
About This Role
We are hiring a Senior Client Advisor to deliver high-quality controller-level work today and step into Client CFO responsibilities as our advisory practice grows. This is a role designed with a ceiling, not a cap.
Day-to-day, you will own financial review, period-end close oversight, COA design, and system optimization work for a portfolio of clients. Over time, you will lead more of the client-facing strategic conversations: financial performance reviews, planning, and advisory recommendations that help business owners make better decisions.
The right person is excited by both halves of that journey. If you only want to do controller work, this role will feel limiting in eighteen months. If you only want to do advisory work and have no patience for the books underneath, this role will feel frustrating in eighteen days.

Mindset
- Consultant orientation—you think like an advisor, not a task-doer, and you are willing to do the hands-on work that builds toward the advisory seat
- Curious about and open to AI and modern tooling; energized rather than threatened by how these tools change the work
