Full Job Description

Travel Interventional Radiology RN - $2,640/Week - Jackson, MS

Ready to take your Interventional Radiology experience on the road? Advantage Medical Professionals is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a 14-week travel contract in Jackson, Mississippi.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience, work alongside a skilled radiology team, and receive dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Location: Jackson, MS
Contract length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
Hours: 40 hours per week
Some on-call coverage required
Gross weekly pay: $2,640

TRAVEL RN PAY PACKAGE

Based on working 40 hours per week:

$34.85 per hour taxable rate
$1,394 in weekly taxable wages
$1,246 in total weekly non-taxed stipends for housing and incidentals
$2,640 gross per week

Non-taxed stipend eligibility is determined based on applicable guidelines and the traveler’s individual circumstances.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
Prepare patients for procedures and explain what they can expect
Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
Administer medications and moderate sedation as ordered
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Follow all infection-control and patient-safety guidelines
Participate in the required on-call rotation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active RN license or compact nursing license valid in Mississippi
At least one full, current year of Interventional Radiology RN experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Experience with moderate sedation, patient monitoring, and procedural nursing
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
Additional facility-specific certifications may be required
