Williams Insurance Advisors, LLC — Building insurance advisors, not employees.

READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU APPLY. This is a 100% commission, 1099 role for an experienced, self-driven commercial producer. There is no base salary and no benefits. If you need a steady paycheck, leads handed to you, or someone telling you who to call — this is not the right fit, and we'll both save time if you don't apply.

Most agencies say "you sell, we service" and then leave you chasing certificates and endorsements while clients blame you for it. We built the opposite. Williams Insurance Advisors is a 100% remote, commercial-focused P&C agency, and we're looking for one commercial producer who wants to write business they're good at, get a real expert in their corner, and never touch the service grind again — without having to build and run an agency to do it.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

You get the owner as your mentor — directly. Not a sales manager with a quota who never built anything. You work alongside the principal, a commercial lines expert, on real deals. A big shop literally can't offer this, because the owner's time doesn't stretch across hundreds of people.
The service handoff is real. You own each deal cradle-to-bind — prospecting, discovery, submission, underwriting, proposal, binding, onboarding. The moment a client is onboarded, our dedicated service team takes over everything: certificates, endorsements, billing, audits, renewals processing, lender requests. You stay the relationship lead. You don't do the mechanics.
Round your accounts. Write the business, then write the owner's home, autos, and umbrella. More income per relationship, a stickier book, and access to personal lines markets to make it happen.
You're not trapped. Non-solicit only — no non-compete. We earn your stay; we don't chain you to it.
Real infrastructure. Modern, paperless tech stack. Multiple commercial carrier appointments across the trades we're strong in — construction, manufacturing, restaurants, hospitality, and trucking — plus personal lines markets for rounding.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Prospect and develop your own commercial book. We do not provide leads. You source your own prospects and referrals.
Own each deal end-to-end through binding, with mentorship available at every step.
Round commercial accounts with the business owner's personal lines for account rounding.
Hand off all post-bind servicing to our team and stay the client's advisory point of contact.

WHAT WE REQUIRE — PLEASE DON'T APPLY UNLESS ALL OF THESE ARE TRUE

You hold an active Tennessee Property & Casualty (P&C) license right now. Current and in good standing. We are not able to sponsor, pre-license, or wait on a pending license. No active TN P&C license = not eligible.
You generate your own leads and referrals. This role is built for a self-starter. If you've only worked in environments where leads were fed to you, this will not be a fit.
You're genuinely comfortable with 100% commission, 1099 contractor pay — no base, no benefits, uncapped upside.
You're based in Tennessee and able to develop business in the local market.
Tech-comfortable, organized, and able to run your own day in a remote setting.

PREFERRED

Commercial P&C sales experience.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF:

You're looking for a salary, hourly pay, or benefits.
You expect the agency to give you leads or tell you where to prospect.
You don't currently hold an active TN P&C license.
You want to build and own a portable book — we own the book (we're upfront about this; in exchange you carry none of the cost, risk, or overhead of running an agency).

PERSONAL LINES PRODUCER READY TO LEVEL UP?

If you're a strong personal lines producer with the hustle, a current TN P&C license, and you're ready to move into commercial, we'll mentor you into it. Bring the work ethic and the relationships — we'll teach you the commercial side.

COMPENSATION

1099 independent contractor. 100% commission, uncapped earning potential, no base salary or benefits. Optional ramp support is available for the right candidate to bridge the early commercial sales cycle. We lead with what we build around you — the earnings follow the work.
