We are seeking an energetic, creative, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to help promote our services, strengthen our brand, and support patient growth initiatives throughout the community.
Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility of our practice, increase patient engagement, and support business development efforts. This individual will work closely with physicians, leadership, and operational teams to develop and implement effective marketing strategies across digital, print, and community channels.
A key component of this role will include serving as the practice's outreach representative to referring providers and community partners, helping to strengthen referral relationships, increase awareness of practice services, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns to promote practice services, providers, and specialty programs.
- Manage and maintain the practice website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
- Develop and schedule content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, presentations, and patient education resources.
- Coordinate community outreach events, health fairs, physician seminars, and promotional activities.
- Assist with reputation management, including online reviews and patient feedback initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors, advertising partners, and media outlets.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with organizational standards and healthcare industry regulations.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
Provider Outreach & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, referral coordinators, hospitals, and community partners.
- Conduct regular outreach visits to physician offices and referral sources to educate staff and providers about practice services, physicians, and specialty programs.
- Identify opportunities to increase patient referrals and strengthen referral patterns throughout the community.
- Coordinate physician meetings, lunch-and-learn programs, and educational presentations for referring offices.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to develop and implement growth and market development strategies.
- Track referral activity and provide regular reports on referral trends and business development opportunities.
- Address referral-related concerns and facilitate communication between referring offices and practice personnel to ensure an exceptional referral experience.
- Maintain a database of referral sources, community contacts, and outreach activities.
- Represent the practice at networking events, professional associations, healthcare events, and community functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, healthcare communications, business development, provider relations, or a related role.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and social media management platforms.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a professional and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for outreach activities.
Desired Skills
- Experience in healthcare marketing, medical practice marketing, provider outreach, or practice development.
- Knowledge of physician referral networks and healthcare market dynamics.
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO, email marketing, and analytics tools.
- Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Experience utilizing CRM, provider relationship management, or referral tracking software.
