Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Private Dining Chef to craft exceptional culinary experiences for exclusive events and intimate gatherings. In this role, you will lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality, customized menus that elevate our guests' dining experiences. Your expertise in fine dining, food safety, and team leadership will ensure seamless execution from concept to service, creating memorable moments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry in a vibrant, hospitality-driven environment where excellence is the standard.

Duties

Design and execute bespoke menus tailored to each private event, ensuring culinary excellence and presentation standards are met.
Lead food preparation, cooking, and plating for private dining experiences, maintaining consistency and quality throughout each service.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food production, safety protocols, and efficient workflow management.
Manage inventory control and food ordering to ensure all ingredients are fresh, available, and within budget parameters.
Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests to customize menus accordingly.
Monitor shift operations, manage kitchen schedules, and ensure timely delivery of all culinary services while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Skills

Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in catering for private events.
Proven supervising experience in fast-paced kitchen environments with team management skills.
Deep knowledge of dietary restrictions and department-specific food handling procedures.
Expertise in food production, menu planning, and fine dining presentation techniques.
Strong inventory management skills with an ability to control costs effectively.
Skilled in food safety sanitizing procedures, cooking techniques, and kitchen management best practices.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage teams as a chef while maintaining a focus on quality service delivery.
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on food service management and catering operations.
Competence in inventory control, food handling standards, and restaurant experience to ensure smooth operations.
Ability to serve guests professionally with a focus on hospitality excellence; bartending experience is a plus for beverage pairing knowledge.
